Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated in Michigan is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform diversified duties installing, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining production equipment and facility systems to support site goals. You will conduct scheduled maintenance, inspect drives and motors, replace filters, diagnose problems, and work with engineering on projects, tooling, and mold setup when needed.

High school diploma or GED required; trade school or degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Maintain and repair plant manufacturing equipment using mechanical and electrical knowledge.
• Troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems and mechanical equipment by using blueprints, schematics, multi-meter, and other specialty tools.
• Document preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and other recordkeeping utilizing the Computerized Maintenance Database System.
• Upkeep of plant infrastructure and subsystems including bulk gas and compressed air distribution systems.
• Develop and implement improvement ideas.

Responsibilities

• Providing scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service, and emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production.
• Performing routine maintenance, such as inspecting drives, motors, or belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, or doing other preventive maintenance actions.
• Repairing machines, equipment, or structures, using tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches, or equipment such as precision measuring instruments, electrical or electronic testing devices.
• Servicing, repairing, adjusting, and testing machines, devices, moving parts, and equipment.
• Practicing and promoting safety at all times.
