Job summary

Kelly Services is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician in Havre de Grace, MD, on a direct-hire basis. You will perform maintenance on extrusion or blow molding equipment and participate in preventative maintenance to keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires 3+ years of industrial maintenance, ability to read blueprints, and a willingness to work a 12-hour night shift with a rotating AWS schedule. Safety and quality are paramount.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints/schematics.
• Welding/fabrication experience preferred.
• Will lift up to 50 pounds; ability to work 12-hour night shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on extrusion or blow molding equipment to ensure optimal operations.
• Execute and improve preventative maintenance procedures.
• Assist in equipment changeovers and ensure proper execution.
• Conduct reactive maintenance and resolve equipment issues as needed.
• Adhere to safety, quality, and operational standards; participate in training.

Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $27–$38/hr., based on experience

Shift: 12 hour night shift with a rotating 3-2-2-3 AWS schedule 6:45pm-7:00am

What’s a typical day as an Industrial Maintenance Technician? You’ll be:

• Performing maintenance for extrusion or blow molding manufacturing equipment to assure uninterrupted optimal operations
• Executing and continuously improving preventative maintenance procedures
• Participating in equipment changeovers, ensuring efficient and correct execution
• Conducting reactive maintenance and resolving equipment issues as needed
• Ensuring compliance with all safety protocols, quality standards, and operational practices
• Growing your knowledge and skills through various training and on-the-job experiences

• Have PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) experience (a bonus)
