Job summary

Jobot is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in the Sugar Manufacturing sector. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair complex machinery to keep production running smoothly and safely.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as Maintenance Technician in a food manufacturing or similar industrial setting.
• Mechanical and electrical skills with understanding of components and systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills for rapid problem solving.
• Knowledge of machines and tools: designs, uses, repair, maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance procedures.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
• Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment.
• Keep detailed maintenance and repair records with machine error descriptions and repairs.
• Monitor spare parts inventory and order new supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with production team to ensure machinery is in good working order.
• Comply with safety and health regulations when operating equipment or performing tasks.
• Remain updated on current technology and machinery in manufacturing.
