Job summary

Sugar Creek Packing Co. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to lead routine maintenance and repairs on the site’s machines and equipment.

You will mentor the maintenance team and work with Plant Management to minimize downtime by scheduling maintenance across various machines. The role requires 3+ years in maintenance, experience with automated equipment, and knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in maintenance with automated equipment preferred.
• 3+ years of maintenance with electrical/electronic responsibilities preferred.
• Experience in a food manufacturing setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead troubleshooting and corrective maintenance as first level escalation.
• Dismantle and rebuild machinery to access defective parts.
• Perform routine preventative and predictive maintenance on drives, motors, belts, and fluids.
• Mentor junior technicians and provide safety trainings.
• Follow LOTO procedures and ensure team compliance.
