Job summary

SugarCreek Packing Co. seeks an experienced maintenance technician to sustain and improve machine performance in a food manufacturing environment.

You will perform troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repairs, coordinate with operations to minimize downtime, and ensure safety standards are met. Candidates should have 2+ years in maintenance of automated equipment, with electrical/electronic responsibilities, and the ability to read schematics and use diagnostic tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School Diploma or GED; equivalent experience preferred.
• Experience: 2+ years in a maintenance role with automated equipment; electrical/electronic responsibilities; food manufacturing setting preferred.
• Ability to read prints, repair manuals, wiring diagrams, and parts catalogs.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting and corrective maintenance on equipment to diagnose electrical and mechanical malfunctions.
• Dismantle and rebuild machinery using hoists, cranes, hand tools, or power tools.
• Conduct routine preventive and predictive maintenance on drives, motors, belts, fluids, and filters.
• Verify maintenance findings and complete work orders in a timely manner.
• Maintain documentation and review reports; follow LOTO procedures.
• Ensure safety, food quality, and sanitation initiatives are followed.
