Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an experienced 1st Shift Industrial Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain critical production equipment in a high‑speed industrial setting. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, read electrical schematics, and work with 480V systems to ensure uptime and safety.

The role emphasizes hands‑on problem solving, collaboration with the maintenance team, and ownership of resolving equipment issues to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years in industrial maintenance.
• Experience with PLCs, VFDs, and motor controls.
• Strong ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Experience with 480V electrical systems in an industrial setting.
• Packaging equipment experience preferred.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment to minimize downtime.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on packaging machinery.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic problems.
• Read schematics and electrical diagrams to locate faults.
• Work with 480V systems and industrial control panels safely.
• Identify root causes and implement long‑term fixes for reliability.
• Document maintenance and parts usage for planning.
• Collaborate with teammates to prioritize work orders and respond to breakdowns.
• Operate independently and make real‑time decisions to keep operations running.
