Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment in a manufacturing facility. The role involves diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues and working with the maintenance team on complex repairs.

You will read electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics to support troubleshooting, troubleshoot PLC controlled equipment, and perform preventive maintenance with accurate records. Safety and quality practices are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or an associate’s degree is preferred.
• Three or more years of industrial maintenance experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting production equipment, electrical systems, motors, sensors, and controls.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read schematics and use standard diagnostic tools.
• Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting; PLC programming experience is a plus.
• Welding experience is a plus.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with workplace safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Respond to production equipment issues and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems.
• Repair and maintain production machinery, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Read electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics to support troubleshooting and repairs.
• Troubleshoot PLC controlled equipment and use PLC diagnostics to help identify faults.
• Perform preventive maintenance and keep accurate maintenance records.
• Identify recurring problems and help develop lasting fixes.
• Request parts and supplies needed for repairs and maintenance.
• Follow plant safety procedures and food manufacturing quality practices.
