Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician in Danville, KY to maintain and repair production equipment, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, and improve uptime. The role emphasizes PLCs, sensors, and basic machining in a manufacturing setting.

The candidate should have four years of maintenance experience, strong electrical troubleshooting, and the ability to read schematics and ladder logic.

Qualifications

• 4 years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with PLCs and automated equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery, conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pumps, and hydraulic systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical systems up to 480V.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and ladder logic diagrams.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, including Allen-Bradley systems.
• Install, replace, and maintain sensors, VFDs, relays, contactors, and motor controls.
• Perform welding, fabrication, and basic machining as needed.
• Run and bend conduit for electrical installations and upgrades.
• Document maintenance activities and work orders accurately.
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
