This role targets experienced technicians with a strong foundation in industrial maintenance—hydraulics, electrical work, welding, rigging—and offers progression toward Tech III

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5–8 years in industrial maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment, or equivalent military experience.
• Expert proficiency in hydraulics, mechanics, electrical, welding and rigging.
• Intermediate proficiency with PLC.
• Commitment to continuous learning and achieving higher levels of expertise.
• Effective communication, both oral and written.
• Maintain Perdue Farms QEW Certification.
• Must achieve Maintenance Tech III proficiency within 10 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform highly technically complex tasks with a higher degree of independence.
• Diagnose and repair complex machinery; conduct preventive maintenance; ensure production efficiency.
• Provide operators with support around machine reliability; collaborate with production staff and other technicians.
• Assist in troubleshooting equipment setup and production changeovers.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns promptly; identify and report unsafe conditions.
• Adhere to safety standards and quality protocols to meet production requirements.
• Learn and observe all required safety precautions.
• Use appropriate safety precautions to minimize exposure to chemicals, dust, and hazards.
• Maintain work records and prepare clear oral and written reports.
• Work all required work schedules.
