Job summary

Shaw Industries LLC is seeking a Maintenance Tech C (3rd Shift) to support safe, reliable operation of production equipment. You will perform hands-on maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and assist senior technicians in a team-based environment.

Responsibilities include preventive/corrective maintenance, equipment upkeep, and documenting work in CMMS. This role emphasizes safety, quality, and developing foundational reliability skills.

Qualifications

• Foundational experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and maintenance practices.
• Ability to read and interpret basic mechanical drawings.
• Familiar with safety practices including LOTO, PPE, hot work.
• Proficient with hand and power tools and basic measuring instruments.
• Willing to learn advanced maintenance and reliability skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Maintain mechanical systems such as bearings, belts, chains, pulleys, shafts, motors, and gearboxes.
• Support conveyance systems, pumps, valves, and utility systems (steam, air, water).
• Assist with hydraulic and pneumatic system maintenance to ensure safe operation.
• Document and communicate issues, root causes, and corrective actions to maintenance and operations teams.
• Complete assigned work orders supporting plant reliability and improvement initiatives.
• Follow all safety and quality standards during project work.
• Work closely with senior technicians and maintenance leads.
