Job summary

FULLBEAUTY Brands is hiring a Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift in Indianapolis, IN. The role focuses on mechanical and electrical maintenance, PLC programming and troubleshooting across distribution equipment such as conveyors, cranes, AS/RS, sorters and printers.

The candidate will read electrical schematics, diagrams and blueprints, perform preventive maintenance, train new mechanics, and work with subcontractors to keep equipment running safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Must have the ability to perform mechanical and preventative maintenance on distribution equipment.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, ladder diagrams, and blue prints.
• Seven years as a technician performing electrical/mechanical repairs in an industrial environment.
• Strong electrical and PLC experience required.
• Strong Motor control experience required.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical systems and circuits for Building Services and Engineering projects.
• Install, program and troubleshoot PLC systems for projects.
• Troubleshoot and take corrective action on distribution equipment program calls.
• Perform scheduled maintenance on distribution equipment (Conveyor, Cranes, ASRS, Sorters, Extendos, Printers, Labelers, Scales, Scanners).
• Perform daily maintenance on distribution equipment (Conveyor, Cranes, ASRS, Sorters, Extendos, Printers, Labelers, Scanners).
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors for testing, maintenance and repairs of distribution equipment.
• Handle equipment following OSHA and safety rules, hazardous materials handling, and company policies.
