Job summary

FULLBEAUTY Brands is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician in Indianapolis to install and troubleshoot electrical systems, PLCs and distribution equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance and liaise with contractors to ensure reliable operation of conveyors, cranes and AS/RS systems.

The role requires 7+ years in an industrial setting, strong electrical and PLC expertise, and the ability to read schematics and blueprints.

Qualifications

• 7+ years as a technician performing electrical/mechanical repairs in an industrial environment.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, ladder diagrams, and blueprints.
• Strong electrical and PLC experience required.
• Strong motor control experience required.
• Must be able to perform mechanical and preventative maintenance on distribution equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical systems and circuits to support Building Services and Engineering projects.
• Install, program and troubleshoot PLC systems as directed to support Building Services and Engineering projects.
• Troubleshoot and take corrective action to fix distribution equipment program calls.
• Perform scheduled maintenance on distribution equipment (conveyor, cranes, ASRS, sorters, extendos, printers, labelers, scales, scanners).
• Perform distribution equipment daily maintenance (conveyor, cranes, ASRS, sorters, extendos, printers, labelers, scales, scanners).
• Work with subcontractors and vendors for testing, maintenance and repairs of distribution equipment.
• Follow OSHA and safety requirements and FULLBEAUTY Brands policies and procedures.
• Prepare department documentation (work logs, equipment check sheets, preventative maintenance docs).
• Communicate major problems to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Assist in training of new mechanics.
• Any and all other duties assigned.
