Job summary

Pentair in Chardon, OH is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Tech for 1st shift. You will perform a variety of maintenance tasks on automated, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, including repairs and preventative maintenance, in a manufacturing setting.

The role requires 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience, electrical work up to 480V, strong math and mechanical reasoning, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. A written and hands-on skills test is required.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3–5 years of prior Industrial Maintenance experience.
• Must have knowledge of working with electrical up to 480V.
• Must have mathematical and mechanical reasoning abilities along with critical thinking skills.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, twist, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Successful completion of a written and hands-on skills test.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment within the facility.
• Install and set up AC & DC drives and troubleshoot 480V 3‑phase motor controls and PLCs.
• Perform preventative maintenance according to program outlines.
• Document supplies needed and read diagrams, schematics, and manuals.
• Work in production areas as needed based on business demands.
