Job summary

Nationwide Technical Search is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for the St. Louis, MO area. The position is onsite with a permanent/direct hire track and full benefits; relocation assistance is available.

Shifts are 12 hours (7am-7pm or 7pm-7am) with a wage of $33-$39 per hour. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing plant electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, reading schematics, and working with PLCs and VFDs to maximize uptime and safety in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of heavy industrial electrical and mechanical maintenance experience.
• Ability to work independently or in a team with minimal supervision.
• Basic computer literacy (Windows).

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot plant electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Read electrical/mechanical drawings and test circuits, PLCs, overhead cranes, forklifts, hoists, 3-phase motors, and VFDs.
• Install, modify, rebuild, and fabricate industrial components and systems.
• Ensure maximum equipment uptime and support continuous safety, quality, and production goals.
• Hand off shift reports clearly to teammates and management.
