The incumbent will interpret blueprints, ensure safety and ISO adherence, manage budgets, and collaborate across departments to keep schedules on track and improve overall efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from a four-year college.
• Seven years of experience providing the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to write technical documents and work with mathematical concepts.
• Organized, self-motivated with strong project management abilities.
• Experience in a research and development or manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Study schedules and estimate time, cost, and labor for job assignments.
• Recruit, hire, train staff, evaluate performance, and manage promotions.
• Advise on career planning, training, and skills development.
• Interpret policies, enforce safety regulations, and monitor activities.
• Develop methods for tracking expenditures and progress for management.
• Analyze problems and assist employees in solving work issues.
• Manage department budgets and allocate funds as needed.
• Interpret specifications and blueprints, assign duties, and adjust procedures.
• Attend meetings and manage multiple projects, some direct and some via others.
• Perform reverse engineering and develop test methodologies.
• Adhere to ISO processes, procedures, and policies.
