Job summary

Advanced Technology Services in Pontiac, IL is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to perform mid to expert level break-fix and preventive maintenance in a manufacturing environment.

You will troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control systems, source parts, and support CI/5S initiatives while complying with safety policies. Competitive pay ranges and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Associates degree with a Technical focus and 3 years of related experience in general industry; or 5 years of related experience in general industry or successful completion of the ATS Technician Progression Program.
• Understands electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems.
• Must be able to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate
• May be required to travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform mid to expert level maintenance and root-cause analysis.
• Identify and source parts and repair items as needed.
• Set up and operate machining operations and welding as required.
• Follow 5S, CI activities, and maintain CMMS history.
• Troubleshoot control systems and use predictive maintenance data.
• Mentor lower level technicians and participate in training.
