Valmont Industries is seeking a Maintenance Project Specialist in Omaha to oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of galvanizing equipment. The role requires reading blueprints, following electrical schematics, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will bring strong mechanical and electrical skills, lean manufacturing experience, and the ability to manage projects with internal teams and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degree with substantial industry experience.
• Strong ability to read blueprints and process sheets.
• Experience in lean manufacturing and project management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, repair and maintenance of galvanizing equipment.
• Inspect and verify work in accordance with blueprints and specs.
• Lead shop/maintenance projects and coordinate with contractors.
• Travel up to 80% domestically and internationally.
