Job summary

Valmont Industries is hiring a Galvanizing Services Technician in Nebraska. The role entails welding, fabrication, and using forklifts and overhead cranes to move and inspect materials throughout the galvanizing process.

Applicants must have welding experience, the ability to interpret drawings, and strong safety awareness. Shift: 1st Shift (Mon-Fri 6:30am-3:00pm); on-site, with training and PPE provided.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of relevant experience.
• Six months of welding experience or equivalent training.
• Ability to pass level 1 welding capability test on site.
• Ability to read and interpret welding symbols, drawings, and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding and fabrication tasks, cutting, grinding, and fitting materials.
• Operate forklifts to move material safely.
• Operate radio-controlled overhead bridge cranes to move loads.
• Conduct inspections of incoming, in-process, and finished materials for compliance.
