Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our North Las Vegas, NV facility. Starting at $34.00/hour with overtime, weekends, and holidays on a 12-hour shift schedule.

Duties include troubleshooting, maintenance, PM program participation, and accurate documentation. Ideal candidates have mechanical maintenance experience in industrial settings, hydraulics/pneumatics troubleshooting, and familiarity with bearings, chains, and conveyors.

Qualifications

• Mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or military environment.
• Experience troubleshooting hydraulics & pneumatics.
• Experience with bearings, chains, sprockets, gearboxes, conveyors, rollers, pulleys, and shafts.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, install, align, and dismantle industrial machinery and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and lubricate machinery for reliability and uptime.
• Record work results and parts usage in the CMMS.
• Adhere to plant safety and environmental guidelines and participate in safety programs.
