Job summary

Union Beverage Packers, LLC is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to support our beverage manufacturing operations. The role will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and plant systems across all shifts, with a greater need on 3rd shift.

The ideal candidate will read mechanical drawings, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and work with maintenance, production, quality control, sanitation, contractors, and vendors to keep lines running safely and

Qualifications

• Must have strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and respond quickly to equipment problems.
• Willingness to work 48 hours per week and overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on production equipment and plant machinery.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and refrigeration issues.
• Complete preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and equipment repairs.
• Diagnose equipment failures and make repairs to reduce downtime.
• Assist with equipment installation, modification, start-up, and production changeovers.
• Read mechanical drawings, schematics, manuals, and technical documents.
• Inspect equipment daily and report major problems to Maintenance leadership.
• Support blow molders, fillers, conveyors, palletizers, packaging equipment, and other production systems.
