Job summary

Union Beverage Packers, LLC is seeking skilled and dependable Industrial Maintenance Mechanics to support our beverage manufacturing operation. We are hiring for all shifts, with a greater need on 3rd shift.

Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on production equipment, troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and refrigeration issues, and support changeovers and installation while adhering to safety and GMP requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Industrial maintenance, mechanical, manufacturing equipment, or related technical experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and respond quickly to equipment problems.
• Ability to work at least 48 hours per week.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays when required.
• Ability to work safely around production equipment and moving machinery.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on production equipment and plant machinery.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and refrigeration issues.
• Complete preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and equipment repairs.
• Diagnose equipment failures and make repairs to reduce downtime.
• Assist with equipment installation, modification, start-up, and production changeovers.
• Read and understand mechanical drawings, schematics, machine manuals, and technical documents.
• Inspect equipment daily and report major problems to Maintenance leadership.
• Support blow molders, fillers, conveyors, palletizers, packaging equipment, and other production systems.
• Enter work orders and maintain accurate repair and maintenance records.
• Support production during equipment breakdowns and high-pressure situations.
• Follow all safety, GMP, food safety, quality, sanitation, and company procedures.
