Source Recruitment Solutions in Watertown, MA is looking for an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

You will support equipment reliability and continuous improvement, performing electrical work up to 480V, motor controls, PLC troubleshooting, welding, and leading setups and improvements. A technical degree or certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with motor controls, PLCs, and schematics.
• Technical degree or certifications preferred.
• U.S. work authorization without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical systems (gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, packaging equipment)
• Perform electrical work up to 480V (motors, VFDs, relays, sensors)
• Diagnose motor controls and safety circuits (E-Stops, relays, interlocks)
• Support PLC troubleshooting (I/O, basic ladder logic)
• Perform welding and basic fabrication
• Lead equipment setups, changeovers, and improvements
• Maintain documentation in CMMS and follow safety standards

Salary: Hourly rate by experience: $35 to $50+ per hour.

Overview

Seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems in a fast-paced industrial environment. This role plays a key part in equipment reliability and continuous improvement in a Manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical systems (gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, packaging equipment)
• Perform electrical work up to 480V (motors, VFDs, relays, sensors)
• Diagnose motor controls & safety circuits (E-Stops, relays, interlocks)
• Support PLC troubleshooting (I/O, basic ladder logic)
• Perform welding & basic fabrication
• Lead equipment setups, changeovers, and improvements
