Job summary

Source Recruitment Solutions seeks an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic in Lowell, MA for a full-time, permanent role. The position offers an hourly rate of $35 to $50+ per hour with full benefits, health and vacation time, and more.

You will troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems in a fast-paced plant setting. Responsibilities include servicing gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, and packaging equipment; electrical work up to 480V; motor controls and safety

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with motor controls, PLCs, and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical systems (gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, packaging equipment).
• Perform electrical work up to 480V (motors, VFDs, relays, sensors).
• Diagnose motor controls & safety circuits (E-Stops, relays, interlocks).
• Support PLC troubleshooting (I/O, basic ladder logic).
• Perform welding & basic fabrication.
• Lead equipment setups, changeovers, and improvements.
• Maintain documentation in CMMS and follow safety standards.

Overview

Seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems in a fast-paced industrial environment. This role plays a key part in equipment reliability and continuous improvement in a Manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical systems (gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, packaging equipment)
• Perform electrical work up to 480V (motors, VFDs, relays, sensors)
• Diagnose motor controls & safety circuits (E-Stops, relays, interlocks)
• Support PLC troubleshooting (I/O, basic ladder logic)
• Perform welding & basic fabrication
• Lead equipment setups, changeovers, and improvements
• Maintain documentation in CMMS and follow safety standards

Qualifications
