Source Recruitment Solutions in Quincy, MA is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems in a fast-paced manufacturing plant. This is a FULL-TIME permanent position with an hourly rate by experience.

The role requires 3–5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, and experience with motor controls, PLCs, and schematics.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical systems (gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, packaging equipment).
• Perform electrical work up to 480V (motors, VFDs, relays, sensors).
• Diagnose motor controls and safety circuits (E-Stops, relays, interlocks).
• Support PLC troubleshooting (I/O, basic ladder logic).
• Perform welding and basic fabrication.
• Lead equipment setups, changeovers, and improvements.
• Maintain documentation in CMMS and follow safety standards.

Overview

Seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems in a fast-paced industrial environment. This role plays a key part in equipment reliability and continuous improvement in a Manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical systems (gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, packaging equipment)
• Perform electrical work up to 480V (motors, VFDs, relays, sensors)
• Diagnose motor controls & safety circuits (E-Stops, relays, interlocks)
• Support PLC troubleshooting (I/O, basic ladder logic)
• Perform welding & basic fabrication
