Job summary

Savage is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Supervisor in El Dorado, KS to lead maintenance activities for rail switching, bulk material handling, and conveyors. You will own the CMMS, drive reliability improvements, and ensure safe, compliant operation while maximizing uptime.

The role requires strong leadership, expertise in mechanical and electrical systems, and the ability to manage budgets and coordinate contractor work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years of industrial maintenance experience in heavy industrial environments.
• 5+ years of maintenance leadership/management experience.
• Experience implementing CMMS and maintenance reporting tools.
• Experience with rail switching operations and bulk material handling is preferred.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety leadership and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance technicians and contractors with a focus on safety and continuous improvement.
• Set maintenance priorities to support rail switching and material handling reliability.
• Provide technical leadership for mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and control systems.
• Manage budgets, labor resources, and contractor performance on projects.
• Coordinate major repairs, outages, and equipment rebuilds.
• Ensure CMMS data integrity and timely work order closeout.
