Job summary

CMC is seeking a senior maintenance leader to oversee facility and heavy equipment maintenance, supplier performance, and staff development. The role emphasizes safety, budgeting, and continuous improvement across production and maintenance operations.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of maintenance experience with supervisory responsibility, strong mechanical/electrical knowledge, and CMMS experience (SAP a plus).

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of related facility and heavy equipment maintenance experience.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience.
• Thorough understanding of maintenance principles, technologies, machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic and mechanical schematics.
• Strong computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• CMMS experience - SAP a plus.
• Ability to estimate labor hours and visualize the job to be performed.
• Strong communication skills at all levels of the organization.
• Team player in a fast paced environment with attention to detail.
• Experience with Preventative/Planned Maintenance processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and coordinate activities of Supplier Performance Team and assist team as needed.
• Oversee staff training & development.
• Excellent customer service including follow through, time management, planning/organization, and prioritizing.
• Drive continuous improvement focused on productivity, uptime, and lead-time reduction.
• Facilitate compensation planning, performance assessment and employee development planning processes.
• Procure supplies and spare parts to ensure effective and timely maintenance of equipment.
• Leads meetings with team members discussing variety of topics.
• Provides guidance and direction to staff including hiring and performance reviews.
• Process Management - utilize KPI's and data analytics to meet goals and forecasts.
• Anticipates maintenance expenditures and provides estimates to forecast budgets.
• Develop and lead a Safety Culture aligned with CMC standards.
• Develop short-term and long-term production goals and capital requirements.
• Establish strategies to maintain/increase production with management alignment.
• Delegate and supervise multiple employees and contractors; hands-on when needed.
• Demonstrate leadership and coaching to team members.
