Job summary

O&K American Corp. is seeking a Maintenance Leader to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment and electrical controls across the Seymour, IN facility. You will lead maintenance activities, plan repairs from drawings, and ensure safe, reliable operation.

Reliable experience in HVAC, plumbing, welding, mechanical systems, and forklift/overhead crane operation is preferred. The role requires strong problem-solving, teamwork, and the ability to read technical manuals and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
• Experience as a maintenance worker in a manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, welding, and industrial electrical; mechanical experience a plus.
• Experience with tools and reading technical manuals/drawings.
• Ability to read and utilize technical manuals and drawings.
• Basic computer skills; strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan equipment repair and modification from drawings or verbal instruction.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, test, and repair electrical equipment and controls.
• Install/modify equipment, pull wires, bend conduit, and balance power distribution.
• Redesign circuits and document changes with wiring diagrams.
• Perform preventive maintenance and direct helpers on repair projects.
• Assemble, test, and maintain electrical wiring on plant systems.
• Assist in training departmental staff and ensure safe operation.
