SC Johnson & Son, Inc. is seeking an Instrumentation department maintenance leader to oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production lines.

You will validate technician competency, align resources with the production schedule, and lead weekly planning with a focus on safety and efficiency. The role requires 7–10 years in industrial maintenance, strong SAP/CMMS experience, and a proven track record in maintenance planning, scheduling, and safety leadership.

Formación

• Minimum 7–10 years in industrial maintenance, preferably in a chemical plant.
• Advanced computer skills with MS Office, SAP, Redzone.
• Associate degree in a technical field.
• Journeyman certification (HVAC, Electrician, etc.).
• Demonstrated high degree of organization, prioritizing, and motivational skills.
• Ability to motivate and work well with maintenance and operations crews.
• High level of computer skills (MS Office), CMMS experience, and ability to learn new apps.
• Proven track record of safe work and safety leadership.
• Experience in maintenance planning and scheduling including shutdowns and creating standard procedures.
• Knowledge of SAP systems as it pertains to maintenance and operations.
• Knowledge of Microsoft software.
• Use of KPIs for decision making and corrective action.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to conduct effective meetings.
• TPM/Lean knowledge and application.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure safety processes are followed during daily work.
• Execute all scheduled maintenance activities for the unit.
• Review and validate time/manpower estimates for maintenance tasks.
• Assign activities to technicians and track completion in SAP.
• Participate in weekly planning meetings; flag resource gaps for upcoming weeks.
• Lead problem-solving activities across maintenance and operations teams.
• Coach and train technicians; enforce WCS standards with rigor.
• Balance maintenance work with administrative tasks and team leadership.
