SC Johnson is seeking an experienced Instrumentation Department Maintenance Leader to oversee maintenance on production lines. You will drive safety, planning, and execution of maintenance work across shifts, ensuring competency and proper resource allocation.

Role emphasizes SAP and CMMS usage, continuous improvement, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet production goals and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in industrial maintenance, preferably in a chemical plant environment.
• Associate degree or technical equivalent; journeyman certification preferred.
• Strong organizational, prioritization and motivational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Instrumentation department maintenance leadership.
• Review and validate technician competency levels and allocate resources.
• Execute weekly maintenance plans, realign workforce to production schedules and shift staffing.
• Ensure safety processes are followed during daily work.
• Perform maintenance activities and contribute to administrative tasks.
• Document corrective and preventive maintenance in SAP and support MOC processes.
• Participate in weekly planning and scheduling meetings to improve resource planning.
• Coach and train assigned technical workforce to meet standards.
