Job summary
The Raymond Corporation in Greene, NY is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to troubleshoot and program automated manufacturing equipment, document updates, and lead equipment-improvement projects. You will collaborate with a diverse team to support a hands-on maintenance program.
The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and substantial experience with PLCs, electrical and safety controls, and schematics interpretation. On-site work with a comprehensive benefits package is provided.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, industrial, electrical or manufacturing engineering with 12 years of related experience, or 20+ years total experience.
- Experience troubleshooting automated manufacturing equipment and reading electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic schematics.
- Experience with PLCs (Omron CJ/NJ, Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Fanuc) and safety controls.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting automated manufacturing equipment using multi-meter, hand tools, and computer software.
- Read schematics (electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic) and update in Autocad.
- Lead improvement projects for equipment updates.
- Provide maintenance support and document changes to equipment and procedures.
