Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, seeks a Maintenance Mechanic for our Mansfield facility to keep production lines safe and reliable. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose automation and electrical issues, and calibrate control devices to optimize performance.

The role requires strong technical skills, an apprenticeship or equivalent training, and commitment to safety protocols. On-site work with growth opportunities in a leading outdoor infrastructure manufacturer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; apprenticeship in maintenance millwrighting preferred.
• Strong technical skills in automation, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Able to troubleshoot and diagnose issues and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot automation, electrical, hydraulic systems and mechanical components.
• Repair or replace defective parts and calibrate control devices.
• Install, configure and calibrate automation systems including PLCs and sensors.
• Document maintenance activities using CMMS and other record-keeping tools.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to resolve issues promptly.
• Adhere to lockout/tagout and arc flash safety procedures to maintain a safe workplace.
• Stay updated with advancements in automation and maintenance technologies.
• Participate in continuous improvement to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
