Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for a first-shift contract role in Beacon, NY. You will maintain and repair factory production machinery, focusing on preventive maintenance and diagnosing issues to keep equipment safe and reliable.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic problems, reading manuals and diagrams, and documenting maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on maintenance experience in an industrial setting.
• Ability to read manuals, blueprints and diagrams.
• Experience with preventive maintenance on industrial machinery.
• Ability to work first shift in Beacon, NY.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain factory production machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Perform preventative maintenance to identify wear and tear and prevent breakdowns.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues on industrial machinery and repair solutions.
• Diagnose and repair basic electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues related to production equipment.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and diagrams for maintenance tasks.
• Document maintenance activities and parts usage to track reliability.
• Monitor machinery performance and report recurring issues or improvement opportunities.
• Follow safety procedures while working on machinery.
