Job summary

Continental Group Sector ContiTech in Kansas is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systems and production equipment. This role is essential to minimize downtime and support manufacturing operations.

You will read schematics, install wiring, and work with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to ensure safe, reliable operation. Multiple shifts and potential overtime are available; safety is a priority.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
• Read electrical schematics and drawings.
• Commitment to safe work practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical issues on production machinery.
• Perform preventive and corrective electrical maintenance.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, motors, relays, and sensors.
• Troubleshoot motor controls, three-phase power systems, and VFDs.
• Read electrical schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals.
• Assist with electrical installations, equipment upgrades, and capital projects.
• New machinery control panel assembly.
• Identify recurring electrical problems and suggest improvements.
