ContiTech is seeking an experienced Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems across our rubber manufacturing facility. You will ensure safe, compliant operation of production machinery and plant infrastructure in line with electrical codes and company policies.

The role requires journeyworker certification, strong reading of blueprints and schematics, and experience in a heavy industrial setting.

Formación

• Journeyman electrician certification or equivalent union apprenticeship completed.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, controls, and machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
• Experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.

Responsabilidades

• Complete required training for the role.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, including motors, drives, and control panels.
• Diagnose electrical issues using meters, PLC interfaces, and testing instruments.
• Repair or replace wiring, conduit, breakers, fuses, motor starters, relays, sensors, and other electrical components.
• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical components on rubber processing equipment.
• Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime.
