Job summary

UFP Industries, Inc is seeking an Industrial Electrician to join our maintenance team at a fast-paced pallet manufacturing and sawmill facility. The role blends hands-on electrical work with advanced troubleshooting, including PLC programming and diagnosing VFD issues.

Qualifications

Industrial electrical experience in manufacturing preferred.
Strong troubleshooting skills with PLCs, VFDs, motor controls, and automated equipment.
Ability to manage projects from concept through installation while supporting day-to-day maintenance needs.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems.
Program, modify, and diagnose PLC-controlled equipment.
Configure and troubleshoot VFDs and motor control systems.
Plan and execute electrical improvement projects.
Install conduit, pull wire, and complete electrical installations.
Troubleshoot sensors, motors, starters, relays, and control circuits.
Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
Work closely with operations and maintenance personnel to improve equipment reliability.
Assist with preventative maintenance and emergency repairs as needed.
