Job summary

Dallas College seeks a Non-Credit Adjunct faculty member to teach non-credit workforce courses on-site at one or more campuses. The position involves developing course syllabi, delivering instruction, maintaining attendance records, and evaluating student progress in accordance with institutional policies.

Qualified applicants will have an Associate degree or equivalent content experience with appropriate certification/licensure, strong oral and written communication, and a commitment to student

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to work with students and staff.
• Demonstrated ability to work with students and staff through training or past experience.
• Ability to provide quality customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide course syllabi with minimum college requirements and related information.
• Maintain accurate records for reporting grades and attendance.
• Provide student evaluations per guidelines and accreditation/licensure body.
• Meet deadlines for end-of-course documentation to the division.
• Complete required Dallas College professional development hours per year.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
