Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher with 18 graduate hours in the teaching discipline for credit courses.
• Developmental courses require a bachelor’s degree or higher with teaching competency.
• Official transcripts will be required at time of interview.
• Bilingual or multilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides students with a written course syllabus.
• Evaluates instructional process and uses strategies to improve learning.
• Supports discipline through curriculum development and teaching assignments.
• Maintains accurate and complete course records.
• Performs professional activities as agreed with the division dean and colleagues.
• Engages in campus committees and college-wide activities.
• Participates in student advising and registration.
• Uses technology to facilitate learning, access data, and generate reports.
• Meets professional assignments per calendar and contractual obligations.
• Complies with Dallas College policies and student conduct rules.
