Job summary

KAAST Machine Tools, a rapidly growing distributor of CNC and conventional machine tools, seeks an Inside Sales Representative for the Chicago, IL area. In this full-time role you will nurture warm leads, respond to inbound inquiries, and identify new business opportunities while helping manufacturers select the right equipment.

Travel is about 10% for industry trade shows and customer visits. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in inside sales or account management, strong communication

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in inside sales or account management; capital equipment or machine tool experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, highly organized.
• Ability to build rapport with customers and work independently as a team player.

Responsibilities

• Manage Leads & Pipeline: Qualify and follow up on inbound and warm leads, maintain a strong sales pipeline.
• Customer Engagement: Analyze customer applications, recommend machinery, deliver quotes.
• Build Relationships: Establish trust with new and existing customers.
• Product Knowledge: Develop understanding of KAAST’s product line and industry trends.
• Drive Results: Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets with internal teams.
• Trade Shows: Attend 2-3 industry events per year.
