Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operating remote controlled overhead cranes
• Operating powered industrial trucks
• Operating Side Loaders
• Set up and operate the bar marking, bar cleaning and bar chamfering machines
• Keeps staging area filled
• Follows all written procedures

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to sit, stand, push, pull, climb or stoop
• Ability to keep up with production pace for entire 8 hour shift
• Experience in high volume work environment a plus

Additional Details:

• Ability to work any shift
• Have reliable transportation
• Take and pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Current ability to set up or operate BLM tubing cutting with Siemens CNC 8400D Controller or similar cutting Cell (Hautau Tube Cutting Machine)-
• Minimum of three (3) years warehouse or manufacturing experience-
• Certifications for hi-lo or overhead cranes-
• Ability to use micrometers, calipers and other related measurement equipment
• Computer literacy necessary
• Previous machine operator experience running shears, band saw, cold saw operation or tube cutting machines a plus
