Job Title: Dynatite Machine Operator

The primary function of the Dynatite Machine Operator is to ensure the assembly of various parts while operating machinery.

Job Duties:
  1. Assembling a variety of parts
  2. Operating assembly fixtures such as JDS/JD assembly machine, Riveter, Bracket Machines, small presses, & Crimper Machine
  3. Hand packaging of small kits and parts
  4. Operating small hand tools
  5. Inspecting material as it is being fabricated
  6. Notifying the supervisor when a machine is not working properly
  7. Reporting incidents, faulty operations, or product imperfections
  8. Notifying the supervisor if plating is poor
  9. Recording daily production and maintaining production quotas on forms
  10. Loading raw materials as needed
  11. Performing other duties as assigned
Skills & Abilities:
  • Basic math skills
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
Education:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience:
  • 1-2 years manufacturing or assembly experience
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to read and write
  • Good physical condition
  • Good eye/hand coordination
  • Ability to lift 25-30 lbs routinely
  • Ability to stand and/or bend for long periods
  • Use of controls on machinery with feet or legs
  • Working with hands to hold or operate tools
