You will maximize machine uptime and facility performance by safely executing lubrication, contamination control, and preventative maintenance across sawmill, planer, and kiln operations. This hands-on role requires following maintenance schedules, using hand tools, and reporting conditions to keep equipment reliable and safe.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• General knowledge and experience as a lube technician preferred.
• Use hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, impacts, etc.

Responsibilities

• Lubricate machines across sawmill, planer, and kilns.
• Visually inspect machines and report lubrication conditions and deficiencies.
• Drain and clean reservoirs; change filters and breathers on reservoirs.
• Maintain proper fluid levels for various compartments including air and hydraulic systems.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform maintenance.
• Collaborate with maintenance and operations staff to maximize performance.
