Job summary

ADP, Inc. in McBain, MI is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Lubrication Technician to perform hands-on preventive maintenance on sawmill equipment, lubricate machines, and support maintenance teams.

The role requires reading and interpreting manuals, following safety instructions, and working with a range of tools in an industrial setting. This is a full-time position located on-site at our facilities.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret safety rules, instructions, and manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• service machines and equipment by lubricating as per preventative schedules.
• Gain knowledge of machines to progress to industrial maintenance roles.
• Inspect machines and report lubrication conditions and deficiencies.
• Use hand tools for routine and non-routine lubrication tasks.
• Drain and clean reservoirs; change filters and breathers.
• Maintain fluid levels in air, hydraulic, and power transmission systems.
• Read equipment manuals and work orders to perform maintenance.
• Label reservoirs and inventory; coordinate with staff for parts.
• Update scheduling systems with notes and work orders.
• Collaborate with maintenance and operations to improve performance.
