Job summary

Huber Engineered Woods is seeking a Lube Technician to lubricate machines, manage the oil storage building, and support the maintenance team. Responsibilities include oil changes, filter and breather maintenance, and keeping lubrication programs running to maximize equipment uptime.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and 3+ years of manufacturing experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and TabWare CMMS is preferred, with strong teamwork and safety focus essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 3+ years manufacturing experience.
• Good Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work with others as a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and TabWare CMMS preferred.
• Ability to climb and work in high or confined space.
• Ability to work overtime as required.
• Have knowledge of industrial tools and their uses.
• Have excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lubricate machines and manage the oil storage building.
• Perform oil changes and top-up lubricants.
• Inspect and replace breathers, filters, and oil.
• Maintain lubrication of motors and rotating equipment.
• Take measurements with tape, gauges, IR thermometer, etc.
• Write work orders in TabWare and log information.
• Aim to obtain the MLT within the first year.
• Collect fluid samples for analysis and recommendations.
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment as needed.
