Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and lumber knowledge.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and write routine reports.
• Basic knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, torching, arc welding and electrical principles.
• Ability to safely operate forklift, scissor lift, and manual lift.
• Follow verbal and written instructions and do basic math.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair and modify production equipment per manuals.
• Inspect and troubleshoot motors, gear boxes, drives and belts.
• Calibrate, align and test equipment; observe operation for issues.
• Maintain inventory of parts and prepare maintenance reports.
• Safely operate shop tools and follow safety policies.
• Update scheduling systems and request work orders.
