Job summary

JM Huber Corporation's Huber Engineered Woods division seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair plant mobile equipment across multiple facilities. You will weld, cut and fabricate, troubleshoot gasoline, propane and diesel engines, repair hydraulic systems, and inspect transmissions and electrical systems to keep the plant running safely and efficiently.

The role requires physical stamina and teamwork in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and at least 5 years of mechanical maintenance experience.
• Ability to perform job duties with training in industrial maintenance and EH&S practices.
• Ability to work as part of a team and tolerate standing/walking in various positions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair plant mobile equipment including forklifts, automobiles, pickup trucks, dump trucks, front-end loaders, and woodyard equipment.
• Perform welding, cutting and fabrication as required.
• Troubleshoot and repair gasoline, propane, and diesel engines.
• Repair hydraulic systems, including pumps, motors, valves and cylinders.
• Inspect transmission and drive train, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, and alignment.
• Operate lifting and rigging equipment; maintain safety and housekeeping.
