Job summary

Hines seeks an Associate or Director of Industrial and Logistics to underwrite and execute acquisitions and developments of light industrial real estate in the Phoenix MSA. Title and compensation will reflect experience and the scope may expand geographically.

The role requires coordinating with ownership, consultants, and internal teams to deliver projects on time, on budget, and with strong financial results, while supporting leasing activity and investor communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or MBA from an accredited university.
• Three or more years’ work experience specifically in underwriting and financial analysis, preferably in industrial and logistics.
• Proficiency with financial analysis; exposure to development, construction and leasing is a plus.
• Underwriting and Excel skills; strong communication and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and execute acquisitions and developments of light industrial real estate investments in the Phoenix MSA.
• Support Senior Managing Director in off-market purchases and engagement with the ownership community.
• Prepare financial models, budgets, proformas, and investor reports; respond to leasing RFPs.
• Coordinate with external consultants, architects, engineers, and internal teams to deliver projects on time and budget.
• Collaborate with asset management on leasing and operational assignments; lead diligence and site planning.
• Interact with brokers and city officials on leasing, planning, and zoning matters.
