Hines is seeking a Director – Development (Land) to lead residential land and finished lot projects from acquisition to disposition in a dynamic market. You will work with senior leadership on feasibility, underwriting, entitlements, financing, and marketing strategies while coordinating a team of professionals across disciplines.

The role emphasizes robust financial modeling, stakeholder management, and delivering projects on aggressive schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
• Strong financial modeling, underwriting and analytical capabilities.
• Ability to create complex Excel models and perform detailed financial analysis.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects with aggressive schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead land development and acquisition opportunities from feasibility through dispositions.
• Support project equity, debt financing, and reporting to investors and lenders.
• Manage development budgets, financial models, and contracts.
• Oversee project teams including consultants, engineers, and legal counsel.
• Serve as Owner's Representative and coordinate information flow among stakeholders.
