Job summary

Amentum in the United States seeks a Life Safety Systems Specialist to join the Operations & Maintenance team. You will provide advanced expertise in responding to work orders, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on the facility systems in a large industrial environment including clean rooms.

You will diagnose and fix electrical and mechanical systems, perform NFPA compliance tasks, conduct inspections, and support safety programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of related experience.
• Ability to work at heights up to 30 feet in aerial lifts.
• May require state-specific licensing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Building Testing and inspections.
• Assessing Fire Suppression Systems.
• Fire Extinguisher Training.
• Perform NFPA 20 and 25 requirements.
• Maintain regulator records.
• Perform preventive maintenance on process/production equipment as scheduled in CMMS.
• Troubleshoots and repairs.
