Job summary

Austin Industries, Inc. seeks an Insulator - Metal Man to apply, remove, and repair insulation on industrial surfaces across job sites. Read blueprints, measure, cut, and secure insulation while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Requires 4 years of scaffolding experience preferred; NCCER, TWIC card, and a valid driver’s license are required; must be able to work at elevations and in demanding environments with appropriate PPE.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and select required insulation material.
• Work at heights with no fear.
• Brush adhesives on or attach metal adhesive application to insulation material.
• Determine insulation materials based on heat loss, location, surface and equipment.
• Measure and cut insulation material to size with measuring tools.
• Wrap or attach insulation following blueprint specifications.
• Adhere insulation with covers, tape, or sealant.
• Other duties as assigned.
