Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking an Insulator/Metal-man to apply, remove, and repair insulating material on projects across industrial facilities. You will read blueprints, select materials, and measure, cut, and install insulation to control heat, cold, and noise.

Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years of journeyman experience, NCCER, TWIC, and a valid driver’s license. This on-site role requires physical work in industrial environments with opportunities to contribute to safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years journeyman level experience.
• Certifications/licenses NCCER and TWIC required.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Reads blueprints and selects insulation material.
• Apply, remove, and repair insulation on surfaces (ducts, pipes, tanks, boilers, buildings).
• Measure, cut, and fit insulation to shapes and surfaces.
• Wrap or seal insulation materials and secure with appropriate methods.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
